Learn To Laugh At Life
We all go through stressful times, and sometimes the stress gets a little too much for our lives. how do we handle it? Laugh!!! Find something funny in the situation you are in and just LAUGH! The Bible says that"A merry heart does good like a medicine." 3 years ago, I had a terrible fall that produced my main bone in my kneecap to be shattered. There was alot of crying done during that time. I knew in order to survive praying and finding something good in the situation would make a difference. Laughter was also part of it.
The Bible says that God laughs. God truly has a sense of humor. Think about it! When Jonah disobeyed God, and thought he could go so far as to try to leave the presence of The Lord, that Jonah got on a boat and went as far away as he thought he could. He was willing to go all the way over to modern day Spain! Jonah caught the first boat out of Israel to go all the way to Spain; because he did'nt want to do what God said! Jonah was scared to go to Nineveh. Jonah knew that humanly speaking he could get killed, because of being a Hebrew. Look at The first chapter of The Book of Jonah. Jonah was not rebellious but just frightened and was not trusting The Lord for The Lord to protect him; nor realizing that if Jonah himself obeys The Lord what glory would come because of his obedience.
When Jonah got on that boat to go to Spain,, he was completely calm and and laid down and went to sleep. In the meanwhile, God spoke to a Big Fish. Now imagine what God must have said to that fish as He swam! "Now, Big Boy! Instead of eating more fish, I created you, and I'm about to save a man from his own selfishness! Big Boy, I love him, like I do you, but Jonah needs to learn to obey, so when those men throw Him overboard, I want you to be there to save him from himself! Remember Big Boy! He's not your food! He's MY servant! He's not food! Don't eat him; so just swallow Him! Thank you!"
Imagine that storm God created, and Jonah's laying there while those men are panicking! Those men knew exactly that Jonah was disobeying God! Those men decided they'd get rid of the problem, so they threw him overboard!
Imagine Jonah's thoughts !!!Oh my goodness! I'm dead meat now!" God had that fish swallow Jonah, and Jonah prayed some beautiful heartfelt prayers , and asked God to forgive him of being rebellious and scared to trust Him. Then God had the fish throw him up after three days. imagine the indigestion that fish had!
Life is hard, and we need to find humor in life, even when things look the darkest because laughter is great medicine."

What Is Your Treasure?
John 14 says-"Where your treasure is there will your heart be also. " Jesus was talking about us being ready to meet Him in Heaven. It thrills my heart to discuss this with you, because I have to ask:"What is your treasure?"
If you are a child of God, know one thing, you can never lose is your salvation. One may be able to slip out of God's grip because of getting with bad friends, or being around evil influences. In I Corinthians 15 The Bible tells you and I-" Be not deceived! Evil communications corrupt good manners." Also remember how The Lord says to place your mind on those things that are thoughtful, peaceful, those things that will bring you joy. Galatians says:" Whatever things are lovely, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure whatever things are of good report ( worth talking about) think on these things; and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
Treasuring good, decent friends , the ones that will influence you to have good clean fun, and not bring you into sin-alcohol drugs, all that stuff, smoking anything; cigarettes or weed. Treasure your godly friends , love them, appreciate them. Friends like that will help you to build your self-esteem, and help you to be your best at all times.
Don't let your treasure be in things on this earth, because that kind of treasure just goes away with the dirt. Let your treasures be put up in heaven, where nothing can get to it. Let salvation be first, and know Jesus loves you, and died for you, so that you can go to heaven and have a wonderful eternal life. Remember God knew what He was doing when He made you and You, are His treasure!
Keep knowing that you are God's treasure, so make eternal life your treasure.
"Seek you The Lord while He may be found. Call you upon Him while He is near!"
